ComiCoal, my cursed child

So… a lifetime ago a young nerd was sitting in her high school's graphic design lab, goofing off with some friends with Fontographer.

In a moment of utterly nerdy young Discordian chaos fervor she opted to combine Comic Sans and Charcoal (aka the Mac OS 9 system font) together using a font blending feature in Fontrographer.

Thus, ComiCoal was born. A hideous, beautiful monstrosity fit to be an offering to Our Lady of Discord Eris, blessed be she of the Original Snub™

Fast forward to 2020. It's September 11. Everything is literally burning about 10 miles from my apartment and I might have to pack up my pets and some things and evacuate but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Slack has a /slackfont command now and it made me think "could I rebuild ComiCoal as an OpenType font so its horror can disseminate even further?" and wonder of wonders — I can! So I am!

ComiCoal is offered as is, no takebacks, I am not responsible for its status as an ontological hazard.

If you really like it and want to kick me a couple bucks out of gratitude n3philim is my Cash app and PayPal ID.

Stay weird,
